ABOUT STAY SAFE

The IFRC has been providing security training for volunteers and humanitarian personnel for over 20 years.

This website was developed by the IFRC Global Security Unit to:

1. Make security training and tools easily accessible to Red Cross Red Crescent volunteers and personnel in the field.

2. Make critical incident management tools and procedures readily available to managers.

3. Serve as a resource for National Society trainings on security and critical incident management.

4. To supplement the Stay Safe e-learning courses and manuals with more in-depth content, tutorials and instructions.

5. To help share and promote best practices and tips among Movement partners and other humanitarian actors.
