The new Stay Safe Course (2.0 Global Edition) is receiving very good reviews (4.8/5) and the module on Critical Incident Management won a gold medal e-learning award (Brandon Hall Excellence Award).
Over 40,000 people have already taken the course and it is now being translated into 6 more languages.
The course is designed to help Red Cross / Red Crescent and other personnel work more safely in disasters, emergencies and difficult environments and introduction. The new course also includes security and critical incident management content aimed at managers and humanitarian security personnel who are responsible for staff safety and security in the field.
The course is divided into 3 levels:
Level 1, Fundamentals for office workers who do not engage in field or emergency work, but who require basic safety and security training.
Level 2, Personal and Volunteer Security in Emergencies for personnel working in disasters/emergencies in a national context or abroad. This level is equivalent to the old Stay Safe Personal Security certificate.
Level 3: Security for Managers who have safety and security management responsibilities. This level is equivalent to the old Stay Safe Security for Manager’s certificate.
